How we engage

Senior engineering that ships, then stays.

Leadership, embedded engineers or a written review. Pick the engagement that fits where you are, and change it when that changes.

  • Senior ledon every engagement
  • 10 daysto a written audit
  • Monthlyterms, not long contracts

Four ways to work with us

Leadership, capacity or a clear answer.

Each one is led by a senior engineer. Our team joins when the work needs more hands.

  • Fractional CTO

Best when the decisions are piling up

Technical decisions, hiring and vendors, a few hours a week.

    Fractional CTO
  • Forward-deployed engineers

Best when one system keeps slipping

Senior engineers inside your team, shipping one important system in one to three months.

    Forward-deployed
  • Principal engineering

Best when the product needs an owner

A senior lead for your product engineering, month to month, with hands on the code.

    Principal engineering
  • Technical audit

Best when you need the truth first

Know exactly what is wrong with your software in ten days.

Choose by situation

Start from the problem in front of you.

Most companies know their situation better than the name of the help they need. Find yours below. If two fit, start with the smaller one.

  • Unsurewhat you actually haveStart with a technical audit. Ten days, a written report, a fix plan.
  • Stuckon decisions nobody can makeBring in a Fractional CTO. A few hours a week, a standing call.
  • Stretchedwith work nobody has time forForward-deployed engineers for one system. Principal engineering for the whole product.

A team that scales

Start with one senior lead. Add hands when the work needs them.

Every engagement starts with a senior lead who owns the outcome. When the scope grows, engineers, designers and QA join from people we already work with. AI-assisted engineering, reviewed by senior engineers, keeps the team focused and the pace high.

  • One accountable lead from the first call

  • Specialists join as the scope grows

  • The same reviews and standards on every change

  • Everything documented in your name as we go

A straight answer

When none of these is the right fit.

  • You want hourly contractors to direct

We lead the work we take on. If you only need extra hands to assign, a staffing firm is cheaper.

  • You already know exactly what to build

Then a fixed build is simpler. See our services and get one number.

  • Nobody can act on what we find

Advice needs an owner on your side. One person has to be able to say yes.

Questions

What leaders ask before choosing an engagement.

If yours is not here, bring it to the call.

  • What is the difference between a Fractional CTO, forward-deployed engineers and principal engineering?

A Fractional CTO gives you strategy and decisions, a few hours a week. Forward-deployed engineers ship one system inside your team over a fixed term. Principal engineering owns your product engineering month to month, including the hands-on work.

  • Can we switch from one engagement to another?

Yes, and many clients do. An audit often leads to a Fractional CTO or principal engineering. A forward-deployed term can roll into principal engineering once the system ships. Nothing you paid for is lost.

  • Is there a minimum term?

The audit is a fixed ten day piece of work. Forward-deployed terms run one to three months. Fractional CTO and principal engineering run month to month after the first quarter, with thirty days notice.

  • How fast can you start?

Usually within two weeks of the call. An audit can often start sooner, as soon as we have access and a signed NDA.

  • How does pricing work?

Each engagement has a published floor. The audit is a fixed price. The others are a monthly fee. You get a number in writing after the call.

  • Who works on our account?

A senior lead owns every engagement from the first call. Engineers, designers and QA join when the work needs them. You always know who is on it and why.

  • How do you use AI?

AI helps us read code, draft tests and move faster on routine work. A senior engineer reviews every change before it ships. Your data stays in your systems, and you approve what any AI tool may see.

Next step

Not sure which one fits? That is what the call is for.

Thirty minutes. You leave knowing which engagement suits your situation, or that you need none of them.
